Cuisinart® Deep Fryer
Make crispy fries, fish and more in the Cuisinart Deep Fryer. This immersion-style fryer heats a gallon of oil up to 375° F within ten minutes and will hold up to 2.3 pounds of food.
The removable stainless steel oil reservoir measures 9 x 12 x 6 inches (D x W x H) and features a pouring spout to prevent drips. The depth of a gallon of oil in the fryer is three inches, which is ideal for frying many of your favorite foods.
An indicator light alerts you when the desired temperature is reached and the fryer includes a heavy duty stainless steel basket with a large, stay-cool handle.
All parts, excluding the heating element, are dishwasher safe so cleanup is surprisingly easy.
Cook's Illustrated recommends the Waring Pro DF250B electric deep fryer, which was discontinued in 2017 and replaced with this Cuisinart CDF-200 fryer. The Cuisinart fryer is identical in specs and appearance to the Waring Pro fryer, besides the brand name and item number change. Cuisinart and Waring Pro are owned by the same company.

Could have a collapsible handle on the basked make storage easier other than that works great
Once the heater and basket are placed in the oil reservoir, the depth of the oil is greatly reduced. The fill line allows about 3" but once the heater and basket are in place you're lucky to have 2".
Haven’t used it yet but looks cool.
This deep fryer is temperature correct. Temp goes to 375 and timer is up to 30 minutes. I’ve fried a lot different items and it works good. There’s one light to let you know the power is on and another light that’s on to let you know the oil is heated to temperature. It does take about 7-10 minutes to come to temp but after that it holds it temperature. It doesn’t take a long time after adding frozen food to come back up to temperature either. I like the way the basket can rest on the fryer above the oil to drain, good feature I missed with my last fryer. Cleaning isn’t difficult as the oil bind comes out to wash. Lid has a nice size window to check foods progress and vent holes to let steam/ smoke out. The metal thickness at first seemed a little thin to me but after using it I don’t have any complaints. Overall I like this deep fryer and would purchase it again.
