Eden Food's organic black turtle beans are soaked overnight and then pressure cooked in purified water at a certified organic and kosher cannery.Black beans are a creamy, sweet, versatile bean; a favorite in the Americas, the Caribbean, and a Mexican staple. Superb with whole grain, in soups, stews, salads, salsa, and for Mexican dishes such as burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, tacos, and refried beans. Selected by Men's Health magazine as a "Best Food for Men." Antioxidant pigments, aka carotenoids, give them their deep color. Rich in healthy fiber and a good source of protein, iron, magnesium, and zinc.Eden Foods' canned black turtle beans contain kombu seaweed to aid in digestion, improve the flavor, and soften the beans. No salt added is added. The beans are packed in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans. Also, PHG does not sell any grains, beans, lentils, pulses or seeds sourced from China.Choice of a case of twelve 15-oz. cans or twelve 29-oz. cans.
