Sprouts are a fantastic way to pack essential nutrients into your diet, in fact, sprouts have more nutrient activity than any other raw food! With the Victorio 4-tray sprouter you can easily grow your own seed, bean and grain sprouts. Four 6 inch diameter x 1-3/4 inch trays are included with the sprouter—use just one tray for a small batch, or all four for a large batch. Victorio recommends stacking a maximum of eight trays per sprouter. Click here for additional seed sprout trays. Having multiple trays lets you grow more than one type of sprouts at once.
To sprout, spread soaked seeds or grain berries evenly across a tray, pour water into the top tray, and let the water drain to the trays below. A 2-cup capacity water collection tray is at the base of the sprouter. Pour water into the top tray 2-3 times a day until your sprouts are ready to use. This process usually takes 3-5 days and it's best to keep your sprouter at about 70 degrees, out of direct sunlight.
