Description

Victorio 4-Tray Seed Sprouter

Sprouts are a fantastic way to pack essential nutrients into your diet, in fact, sprouts have more nutrient activity than any other raw food! With the Victorio 4-tray sprouter you can easily grow your own seed, bean and grain sprouts. Four 6 inch diameter x 1-3/4 inch trays are included with the sprouter—use just one tray for a small batch, or all four for a large batch. Victorio recommends stacking a maximum of eight trays per sprouter. Click here for additional seed sprout trays. Having multiple trays lets you grow more than one type of sprouts at once.

To sprout, spread soaked seeds or grain berries evenly across a tray, pour water into the top tray, and let the water drain to the trays below. A 2-cup capacity water collection tray is at the base of the sprouter. Pour water into the top tray 2-3 times a day until your sprouts are ready to use. This process usually takes 3-5 days and it's best to keep your sprouter at about 70 degrees, out of direct sunlight.

  • “My wife and I do a lot of online ordering and we have seldom dealt with a merchant as conscientious and professional as your organization. Thank you for your patience and outstanding customer service.”

    – Chuck Hall, CA

Each tray will sprout  one teaspoon to one tablespoon of seeds, depending on the size of the seed.

Trays are translucent and made of strong, crack resistant, BPA-free polypropylene.

An ounce of organic alfalfa seeds comes with each sprouter.

There are many ways to enjoy fresh seed sprouts, including mixing into salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. Grain and bean sprouts can be dehydrated and then ground in a steel burr grain mill, such as the Family Grain Mill

Pleasant Hill Grain offers a variety of non-GMO seeds, grains and beans that you can sprout, such as adzuki beans, lentils, barley, garbanzo beans (chickpeas) and wheat.  We also offer a one year supply of sprout seeds here.

These are quality made, work perfect for sprouting small grains. They only use up a very small space on a counter, but not in a window as most seeds do not need light.

Haven't used product yet, but have knowledge about sprouting grains for animal food, and am looking forward to putting this to use.
