Stainless Spigot for Berkey Stainless

This stainless spigot can replace the plastic spigot that comes with each stainless Berkey unit.

To replace your spigot,

Place the beveled exterior washer onto the threaded portion of the spigot with the beveled side facing the lower chamber hole and the flat side facing the spigot.
Insert threads of the spigot through the hole in the side of the lower chamber.
Place the flat washer over the threads within the chamber and secure in place with the nut.
Tighten securely by hand. For the last 1/4-turn, hold the nut in place and gently turn the spigot until it's tight and facing the direction you want it to.

I preordered the travel Berkey. It came pretty quickly! I ordered the special filters, the stand and the stainless steel spigot. I found a video on YouTube explaining how to set it up- the instructions were a bit intimidating, even for my husband who is an engineer. We ran water through a few times and it was ready to supply us with clean drinking water! I don’t taste anything or smell anything in the water. I also have a ProPur water pitcher and mountain spring water jug and it’s hard to tell a difference between all three! We are happy with the size and the results and the looks!
