Standard Spigot for Berkey Purifiers

This is the replacement spigot for all stainless steel Berkey purifiers. It will also fit Berkey Light purifiers made after 2014. Note: Berkey Light purifiers came with blue spigots, but those were discontinued by the manufacturer, so this black spigot is now the only replacement option for the Berkey Light. There is not a replacement spigot available for Berkey Light purifiers made prior to 2014.

To replace your spigot,

Place the beveled exterior washer onto the threaded portion of the spigot with the beveled side facing the lower chamber hole and the flat side facing the spigot.
Insert threads of the spigot through the hole in the side of the lower chamber.
Place the flat washer over the threads within the chamber and secure in place with the nut.
Tighten securely by hand. For the last 1/4-turn, hold the nut in place and gently turn the spigot until it's tight and facing the direction you want it to.
