Enjoy perfect pan-frying, steaming, braizing, simmering and sautéing with this innovative universal lid from Kuhn Rikon. The innovative Smart Lid features a stepped silicone gasket which forms a tight seal over the top of pans from 9" to 11" in diameter.

The Smart Lid also features a revolutionary pressure-release valve. When closed, the valve traps steam into your pan to contain moisture and once opened, the valve releases steam automatically. The Smart Lid comes with the added benefit of a clear, heat-resistant glass top so you can keep an eye on what’s cooking without lifting the lid.

Recommended for electric or induction stoves. If used on a gas stove, make sure that the flame does not come up the side of the pan because the burner flame may cause damage to the silicone rim.

Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Do not use metal, such as scouring pads, steel wool or abrasive cleaners to clean.
