Pulley for Wonder Junior Deluxe Mill
This large heavy duty pulley wheel accepts standard V-belts and can be used to provide power to the Wonder Junior Deluxe mill from a variety of power sources. Whatever power source you may use, the Wonder Junior needs to be turned no faster than 300 RPM (revolutions per minute), which is about twice the typical speed of hand cranking. Power sources are limited only by your imagination. One popular approach is adapting a standard or exercise bike so you can use leg power rather than arm power. An electric motor can be used, but note that motorizing the mill voids the manufacturer's warranty. (Use of the manufacturer's separate Power Drill Adapter accessory does not void the warranty.) The Pulley Wheel includes a special tool that makes handle removal easy. If you motorize your mill, a full belt guard is essential to prevent injury.

Our mill exceeded expectations, producing the size and quantity of millings. I used a 1/4 hp 1850 RPM ac motor with a 2.5 inch pulley. The hopper could be larger, but we improvised. Over all very satisfied.
As soon as I got my new pulley I put it to use. I installed it on an old stationary exercise bike to grind wheat. I've worked as a millwright for several years and was pleased with the quality of the pulley and the 3 solid locking bolts which should never come loose. I also have a couple of motors to power it but I like this set up so much it's all I need. Let the power grid go down and I'm still grinding wheat the easy way. Put those old exercise bikes to work for something useful ha ha.
Great product. Easy to use. We used this pulley to motorize our Wonder Mill Jr. It works great! I would recommend this product because it is good quality and versatile.
Started with the Wonder Junior Mill and it took to long to grind the wheat berries into flour; added the pulley and an motor and now I can get other things set up as the wheat is being ground.
I've had my Wonder Mill Junior for some time now and have ground a lot corn and made a lot of peanut butter with it. But having to turn the mill by hand has taken all the fun of using the mill. Now that I have the pulley and installed a geared down motor to drive it - using the mill now is a breeze. I actually look forward to using the mill now rather than putting off grinding what I wanted because of all the work that was going to be involved in using it. Thank you so much for making my life so much easier.
Its certainly lighter weight than I was expecting a metal wheel to be but the casting seems to be good quality and the finish is smooth. Turning by hand it doesn't have any run out and works about as smoothly as the handle, figuring out how to get it on my exercise bike will be the interesting bit

The pulley looks great! I read the directions that came with the pully and watched the video showing how to attach it to the mill. It looks like a simple job. My big question is how to attach it to something else (bicycle, old treadmill sewing machine works, etc. ) that turns the pulley and engages the mill. Also, I don't yet have the mill itself, so I can't try out any method to use the pulley. I would LOVE some directions!
