Frontier Co-op's organic peppermint leaf (mentha x piperita) is a pleasant tasting, caffeine free herb commonly used in teas and DIY herbal body care items and products. These peppermint leaves are grown in an ideal mint-growing environment in north central Oregon. Peppermint is a hybrid species, a combination of spearmint and watermint. It is commonly used in cooking, mint teas, and fragrances - and it can be grown sustainably and naturally.This Frontier Co-op herb is organic—grown without pesticides or toxins—and kosher certified.The high desert region of the Pacific Northwest is a prime location for growing natural herbs like peppermint. We keep the high desert beautiful with sustainable growth practices and our commitment to environmental responsibility.

To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 1/2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 5-10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Suggested uses: herbal remedies, tea, and baking.

Use & Care
