I haven't used this yet, but already love the handle & and I believe it will mash smoothly. I love that PHG has a variety of products to choose from. It a one stop shop for many things. And delivery is great!

While this is meant to be used for potatoes we use it for all kinds of things - mashing berries, breaking up ground meat while browning, mashing beans, guacamole mixer… if it needs mashing, this tool is it!
