Too shallow

Polished stainless is the best

I like the polished stainless steel for baking because it gives a real nice crust and is much easier to clean. Also, I don't have to worry about any chemicals from non-stick. I just put a little oil or butter in the pan and it comes right out after baking.

This is a shiny steel pan as shown and short as described in specs, but it is what they sell it as, a loaf pan. The side dimensions allow the bread to rise up out of the pan to make beautiful crust.

This is a great quality pan. If you are making 1lb loaves this is perfect, but if you wish to make larger loaves then the sides are not quite a high as perhaps they should be.
All in all I dont think you will be disappointed with this pan!

Durable and perfect size

I've used the Norpro breads pans for about 4 years and recently picked up two more. I like that they're not coated with any questionable nonstick coatings, and they make a great sized sandwich loaf. I use my Zojirushi bread machine to mix and proof a two pound loaf, then into these to rise and bake.
