The pitter is lightweight and easy to use, and disassembles for easy cleaning and storage. Hand washing is recommended.

This little gadget speeds up the work cherry pitting considerably. If you pitting 10lbs+ of cherries, olives etc, I think it is worth it. Be careful to keep your fingers clear of the plunger mechanism!
