The active ingredient, benzalkonium chloride, kills 99.99% of germs, while tea tree oil is a natural disinfectant with antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiseptic properties. The formula also includes soothing lavender oil and aloe vera which is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and Vitamins A and C, so your skin feels refreshed and moisturized. This hand sanitizer is a thin, watery consistency, which works well for evenly coating the hands and getting under fingernails. M.D. Science Lab sanitizer is non-toxic, non-flammable, and safe for frequent, daily use.
