KoMo Manual Sifter

The manual KoMo sifter is available in two diameters, either 18cm (7 inch) or 20cm (8 inch). Both sizes are available in a fine 0.5mm mesh for ultra fine flour, and the 18cm option is also available with a coarser 1.5mm mesh screen.

The sifters are made of spruce chipboard and steel mesh.

The beauty of these sifters, apart from their appearance, is that they're so simple. If a finer result is required, the easiest thing to do is one pass through the coarse sifter, followed by a pass through the second. I have the pair; what's nice is that if you opt for the 20cm fine, the 18cm coarse nests, which saves storage space.

I love the look and feel of these sifters. I have both the coarse and fine but have not yet used the fine. I use the coarse to make a coarse corn meal for cornbread. It removes any larger grinds which sre run back through for a nice, consistent meal. I waited a while for these to be restocked, and it was worth the wait.
