IMPORTANT: COVID-19 UPDATE
Today we're shipping orders for in-stock items placed October 16. Our Hampton showroom is temporarily closed. Despite high order volume, our amazing shipping team is rapidly reducing processing times—we’ve recently added 17 new team members! We greatly appreciate your business and we’re doing our very best to serve you, as Jim C. of California tells. A word to the wise: Because resupply of many product lines remains daunting, and processing times may grow again in coming weeks, there’s never been a year like this to do your Christmas shopping and other year-end buying very early!
"Pleasant Hill Grain is a top notch company. You process orders quickly without error and also resolve returns to the customer's satisfaction. Other companies I've ordered from online don't measure up to Pleasant Hill Grain!"

Keystone Chicken Chunks
LEAN, TENDER & TASTY
Keystone chicken chunks are 98% lean chicken, 2/3 breast meat and 1/3 thigh meat, domestically raised and processed. Keystone fresh chicken (never frozen) is sealed in the BPA-free can with no water added, then slow-cooked in a pressure cooker. Keystone chicken chunks have outstanding taste, texture and tenderness.
Keystone canned chicken chunks contain only two ingredients: Chicken and a small amount of sea salt.
Using Keystone canned chicken is so quick and easy! Because it’s fully pre-cooked, just remove from the can, heat up and serve! Keystone canned chicken is perfect in BBQ, stir fry, tacos, soups, stews, casseroles and more.
You can actually save money with our quality canned meats, even though they cost a little more than refrigerated meats. Surprised? And that's not all; we're also going to explain how Keystone meats do things that regular fresh meat can't. Sound crazy? Well, hear us out...
Imagine being approached by someone who asks you, "Would you like to buy a can of electricity?" That might seem strange, but consider a comparison: The national average cost of electricity is less than ten cents per kilowatt hour. With that ten cents worth of power you can light a 40 watt bulb for 25 hours. Now imagine that a salesman at your door offered to sell you some canned electricity, the same one-kilowatt quantity, "for the bargain price of $3.00." Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? But people actually do buy quite a bit of canned electricity, which is just another name for batteries.
We wouldn't suggest replacing all the power you get from the wall socket with battery power. But for many uses, "canned electricity" is so useful and convenient you'd probably have a hard time getting along without it. Think about those cans of electricity in your flashlight, portable radio, camera... the list goes on and on. Considering what it can do, in fact, canned electricity actually is a real bargain. And our canned meats offer the very same value, with one big exception: The cost difference between our canned meats and the "uncanned" kind is miniscule compared to the premium we gladly pay for the convenience of canned electricity!
Fresh meat is terrific! You pick some up when you're grocery shopping, put it in your fridge, maybe your freezer, and use it in delicious stir fries, roll-ups, casseroles... burgers on the grill. But then something happens... it's gone! There's more at the store, but the store is there and you're here. Or you need it right now. This conundrum generally has three components: Availability, transportation cost, and time.
Your menu plans call for some meat, and you're fresh out—pardon the pun. Of course it's possible that you never forget to buy enough, but then you probably never lose your keys or misplace your glasses, either. (If this is true, we don't want to hear about it. Really.) For the rest of us, it happens. And when it does, going away to pick up some meat hasn't been factored into our plans and may not be practical. At such times, having a variety of excellent canned meats to select from means you don't have to change plans or do without... you just reach for a can of quality, delicious canned meat, without skipping a beat. Sailboat owners are among our most avid canned meat customers.
WE'RE COMING BY
Ordering our canned chicken chunksfor delivery to your door won't involve buying any gas at all. Leave the mileage off your car—FedEx comes through your neighborhood anyway!
Time: It's money, they say. If you know what your time is worth in "dollar terms" you can easily figure out how much an extra trip to the store dings your budget. But time is more than money too. Time is the opportunity to do what you want to for a while... and for most of us, some extra city driving isn't high on our wish list. And there's more: Our meats save you preparation time. There's no trimming or cutting to do, and since they're fully precooked, you just heat and serve!
PREPAREDNESS & SHELF LIFE
We're being advised from many quarters, today, to have some food on hand for one kind of emergency development or another. A variety of circumstances can create a short-term or even long-term need to have food on hand. Food that doesn't require refrigeration, in the event that power goes out for a while. If you don't want to live on beans, macaroni or tofu indefinitely, our canned chicken, canned turkey, canned beef & canned pork will put some great meat on your plate. Our canned meats are guaranteed to remain good-as-new for five years, but customers say they've enjoyed them after far more than five years of storage. The only thing likely to shorten lifespan is attack by outside moisture rusting through the can, and preventing that is as simple as storing the cans in a dry, clean area.
CHOICE OF CAN SIZES
We offer two ways to purchase our quality Keystone canned meats. If you know what you want (maybe you're already back for more), a case of 24 cans with a net weight of 14.5 ounces per can, or a case of twelve cans with a net weight of 28 ounces per can; some natural juices cook out of the meat during pressure cooking, and can be used in your cooking. The 14.5 ounce cans measures 3" in diameter by 3-3/8" tall outside, the 28 ounce cans measure 4" in diameter by 4-3/4" tall on the outside. If you want to try before you order by the case, we offer a sampler pack.
Compare to most other canned meats and you'll find that they use inferior cuts compared to what goes into our product. Another significant difference in all of our canned meats is that they're salted only lightly, not excessively as so many canned goods are.

By Susan C. in MO on 8/21/2019 - Verified BuyerI've been looking for a quality canned meat product with no fillers added and I’ve found it with Keystone products. I love the taste of the chicken. It is not too salty. I can eat it plain right out of the can or use it in a casserole dish. I’m glad I found PHG and Keystone products!3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Ramona H. in NE on 7/22/2020 - Verified BuyerI ordered a great deal of product from Pleasant Hill. So far they have been a five star company. Some items are slow or haven't processed yet due to Covid I assume. The products that were in stock shipped at reasonable speed. Packaging for shipment was exceptional, no damaged goods.
I ordered a variety of canned meats from both labels. The first to arrive was Keystone chicken. I opened one can to sample. We made enchiladas with it. We all agreed it would be added to our survival foods and will reorder. I am anxious to try the other canned meats when they arrive. The canned Bega cheese also arrived. Another great product. It will have many uses and I will definitely reorder. The third item to arrive was steel cut oats. It too has many uses. Hot cereal, filler and oat flour.
I chose Pleasant Hill as a supplier because I believe they are honest. The items they stock and sell are top quality. They give an accurate description of each and every product When I first opened the Pleasant Hill web site, I knew I'd stumbled on a winner. No fluff or gimmicks, but a company with your best interest at heart. A very rare find. I have done years of researching survival foods and products.
These folks aren't just selling a product. They have done the research for you.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Ilya D. in CA on 3/28/2020 - Verified BuyerI come here for all the needs in canned food. I have consumed the beef, pork, chicken and turkey meats. From 2 different companies: Grabill and Keystone. Both were excellent, but Grabill has a longer expiration date. I have given PHG's phone and website address to many people at work and in the neighborhood and never had a bad review from anyone. I appreciate their honesty and quality of service! Will come back for more in the coming years! God bless you and keep you well!Moderator:
Thank you very much for your review, Ilya, and for your business---and especially for the referrals to your friends, that's a HUGE help to us! Just an FYI, we're 100% confident that Grabill and Keystone meats will stay excellent-tasting for equal (and very long) periods of time. If you can keep yourself from eating them first, that is!2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Jane WR in CT on 3/25/2020 - Verified BuyerI was so happy to have found PHG canned meats online. They provide a shelf-stable option for having delicious meats during a time when it’s not easy to purchase fresh meat. The ingredients are only meat and a little sea-salt, so you don’t have to worry about lots of preservatives. The chunks of meat are easy to make inso stir-fries, curries, soups etc. What a great find!1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
