Years ago, Bosch made an ice cream maker attachment for the Universal mixer. Now NutriMill has brought this once-popular accessory back! Designed to work perfectly with the Bosch Universal mixer, it makes 1.5 quarts of your favorite cold treat in just 20 minutes!

Need more capacity? You aren't limited to just one batch, as is the case with other designs that rely on pre-frozen canisters. With this quality NutriMill accessory, you can start another batch as soon as the first is done.

The bowl is made of stainless steel and all parts are BPA-free.

The ice cream maker fits the standard plastic mixing bowl of the Bosch Universal Plus mixer. It also fits the MUZ6ER2 accessory stainless mixing bowl and the MUZ6SB4 accessory stainless mixing bowl for the Universal, as well as the mixing bowl for the NutriMill Artiste mixer. It does not fit the standard plastic bowl of the older Bosch Universal Classic mixer.

Product tip: When using an ice cream maker of this type, rock salt is added to the ice surrounding the freezer, to accelerate the freezing process. It's very important to wash, rinse and dry the stainless bowl very thoroughly immediately after use, to prevent rust. Contrary to popular belief, "stainless" steel is not totally rust-proof. All steel contains iron, and with enough exposure to salt water, rust can start. Just wash, rinse and dry thoroughly right after use, and your bowl will stay looking like new!

The NutriMill Ice Cream Maker attachment fits the Bosch Universal Plus mixer and the NutriMill Artiste mixer. Mixers are sold separately.

The ice cream maker for the Bosch mixer way exceeded our expectations. We’ve only owned our mixer about a week and a half and we’ve already made 4 batches of ice cream—some or guests at our New Years Eve party. They were just as impressed as we are!! So functional, comes with recipes, and makes great ice cream, indoors, with easy cleanup. I would definitely recommend!

I've had the ice cream maker for a couple weeks and have made 5 batches of ice cream so far! My grandma's tried-n-true recipe worked perfectly, volume wise, I didn't have to make any adjustments! The first batch, I was stingy with the salt, so it didn't freeze. After about 45 minutes, I added lots more salt to the ice bath and it thickened up in about 5 minutes! Subsequent batches are freezing in 20-25 minutes.

Really glad I bought the ice cream maker to go with my new Nutrimill Artiste mixer. It is fast and easy to use. I’m old enough to remember hand churning. It took me about 30 minutes from the time I started to gather ingredients until I had a bowl of delicious ice cream on the table. It's quiet and requires only occasional monitoring to add ice.
