Rice Washing Bowl, 2 qt.

Soak rice, legumes and other grains in this BPA-free plastic bowl and then tip the bowl to strain the water out through the drain holes in the side of the bowl. Works with all types of rice, including white, brown, jasmine, black, basmati and wild. This rinsing bowl also works great as a colander for fruits and vegetables. Up to 8 cups of dry rice can be washed in the bowl at one time. Bottom of bowl is solid.

To soak rice, pour raw rice into washing bowl, add enough water to cover the rice and then let the rice soak as your recipe instructs. To wash rice, cover it with fresh water and vigorously run your fingers through it, this will loosen rice bran, starch, husks, and other debris. The debris will float above the rice and can then be easily strained through the side drain. Repeat this process until water is no longer cloudy. 

Bowl capacity is 2 quarts. Top-rack dishwasher safe.
