Frontier Co-op's organic garlic powder (allium sativum l.) is a savory and robust seasoning ground from dried garlic cloves. Garlic powder is a great addition to sauces and savory dishes. Powdered garlic has a much longer shelf life than garlic cloves, making it an essential component of any spice cabinet. The pungent flavor mellows with cooking, but the aroma and taste are unmistakable.

Garlic is a powerful ingredient, and when powdered, it’s even more robust than fresh, so a little goes a long way! About 1/8 teaspoon of powdered garlic is the equivalent of a fresh garlic clove. Just a dash is enough to give your dishes a savory, powerful flavor and aroma. There are no artificial additives or chemicals used in any part of the growing and manufacturing process.

Suggested uses: Perfect for giving stews, gravies, casseroles, and breads a sharp, distinct finish. Also a potent addition to marinades, and granulated garlic enhances the pickling process as well.
