This inexpensive sample package provides samples of a variety of the foods that are included in FoodPaks 1, 2 and 4. Samples are large enough to give you a good taste of how excellent these foods really are, and each packet is labeled with preparation instructions. Please note that the particular items included in the sample package vary by availability. If TVP, taco bits, or bacon bits are included in the package you receive, there may be some flavor sharing. Any such flavor sharing would not occur in a FoodPak order because all these types of products would be sealed in their own steel cans.

I bought the sample pack to demonstrate to my parents the wonderful variety offered by Pleasant Hill Grain. Their primary consideration for food storage has been rice and beans but the quality and taste of the items in the sample pack have changed their minds. Good variety, but not a full three pounds as stated. I ordered five cans and pkg should have weighed over fifteen lbs but came to 12 something. Still a good deal so I'm not raising the issue with company.
