Cookie Paddles & Metal Whip Drive
In the Bosch Universal Plus mixer, Bosch recommends using the wire whips and batter whisks for pourable batters, not heavier mixes. The standard-equipment dough hook works great (and needs to be used) for very heavy loads of cookie dough. For moderate batches of cookie dough, these Cookie Paddles are ideal. Made by the U.S. Bosch importer, the paddles snap onto the Whip Drive—that's the oval/cone shaped part in the photo, which mounts on top of your mixer's bowl column. This is a very useful and popular accessory. Be sure to soften your butter before using the paddles.
This fits the Bosch Universal Plus mixer as well as all older models of Bosch Universal mixers.
To avoid damage, it's important not to use the Dough Glide accessory with these paddles.
"Quantity 1" for this item means a pair of paddles, plus the metal drive part that they attach to. The cookie paddles are also available without the metal whip drive, here.
The Bosch cookie paddles also fit the NutriMill Artiste mixer.

My wife uses the mixer a lot and finds the paddles superb to any other tool. Bosch is simply far and away the best mixer system out there! Would not own another brand! We have owned it for just over 35 years and have not replaced the mixer.
I had to replace mine after one year of use: ( They need to come up with a better plan for these in metal. The little groves are so cheap
My wife bought her Boch mixer 20+ years ago used to make bread. cookies. After 20+ years one of the cookie paddle gears broke off while making cookies like she has done forever. We ordered new ones and she made cookies again and the same thing happened the first time she used the new paddles. So i feel that the quality has drop big time.
Wonderful for mixing cookie dough. Also great for mixing meat loaf and other heavy batters. No other mixer has this feature.
Work great. Hope the teeth don't break like my last ones though. Can't cook without my Bosch.
Used this paddle for first time and was very happy with results - did not have to switch from whisk to dough hook when making cookies which is always a pain.
I love these paddles for cookie making, but our first pair broke off a gear tooth on each paddle after several years of use. I guess I shouldn't complain as they did last a long time, but we don't use them all that often either. That and they don't always seem to scrape the edges well when making small batches. Otherwise, these things are great and I love this mixer.
Broke first time I used them. Great customer service replacing them. Too fragile for heavy dough.
These cookie paddles are great—sturdy and effective. They work with any cookie dough I've ever made and are effective enough to do thin batters as well. I can't live without them!
I love being able to quickly make a double batch of cookies with these paddles. I had my mom's old ones and the gear teeth finally wore down so I had to replace them. Just make sure to follow the directions for using them! Use the metal driver. No really stiff dough with lots of oatmeal or nuts, no hard butter, no gigantic batches. Before you start doing any of those things switch to the big dough hook. Then they will last years. Oh, and make sure your center gear (spur gear) at the top of your bowl your bowl is in good shape. I replaced mine to make sure I wouldn't be damaging my new paddles.
