Clearance: Weston P1000 Stainless Dehydrator

This Weston stainless steel dehydrator offers a great combination of features at a moderate price, including stainless cabinet with ten chrome plated steel racks, a 10 hour timer, and an excellent temperature range of 95° F minimum and 155° F maximum. Total drying area is 15.5 square feet. Operation is simple and cleanup is easy thanks to removable shelf brackets. 1000 watts of power and a strong fan provide even circulation for uniform drying results with little or no tray rotation. Parallel back-to-front airflow prevents flavor sharing between trays when drying a mixed load.

Low-temp oven option: The Weston dehydrator features a full cabinet and can be operated with any number of trays—or no trays at all. This gives you the option of using it as a low-temperature cooking or drying oven for larger objects... even damp mittens or boots!

Dry fruit & veggies... leathers... jerky... even yogurt! The optional yogurt cups we have available let you make yogurt in the Weston dehydrator. One cup of plain commercial cultured yogurt from a grocery store serves as ideal yogurt starter culture. After removing every second rack, the Weston dehydrator can hold as many as 64 yogurt cups. You can also use your own cups or one or more larger containers for yogurt making. Home made yogurt is fun and easy to make, and can be flavored with fruit, vegetables, nuts, honey, vanilla, coffee flavorings... your imagination's the only limit!
