Condition: These #10 cans of Baking Powder were dented on their way to our facility. The baking powder inside wasn't affected in any way.

Rainy Day Foods baking powder is an aluminum-free baking powder without the bitter taste. Baking powder is a dry chemical leavening agent used to increase the volume and texture of baked goods. A must have for any long term food storage and emergency preparedness or to keep on hand for everyday use.

The baking powder from Rainy Day Foods contains no aluminum, which means it's somewhat faster acting than typical double-acting baking powders. You'll see a boost of leavening in the oven, but most of the reaction occurs in the mixing bowl. While this makes a more delicate crumb structure in the finished product, you'll want to get your food in the oven quickly for the best results.

Cans are airtight sealed and oxygen-free for long term storage. #10 cans are coated internally with food-safe anti-corrosion coating. Please note that the terms "#10 can" designates a "Number 10 Can" which are standardized can sizes, and does not refer to a quantity of cans.

Store in a cool, dark place.
