Blender for Bosch Compact & Styline
Mix, puree, blend, crush, crumb and pulverize. The Bosch Compact blender attachment makes marvelous beverages, soups, sauces, fresh nut butters, baby foods, sandwich spreads and more, in its 1 quart pitcher.
Cleanup of the powerful Bosch blender couldn't be easier—with its strong blending action, you can let it clean itself! Just add a couple drops of dish soap to 2 cups of warm water, run on high for 30-60 seconds, rinse and you're done.
The blender lid doubles as a handy wrench that eases removal and replacement of the blade assembly. However, most users follow Bosch's recommendation to leave the blades in place and let the blender clean itself as described above.
Bosch Compact mixer sold separately. This blender also fits onto the Styline mixer, which Bosch discontinued in the U.S.

The accessory Blender Blade Wrench helps you to easily remove the blade from your Bosch blender for the Universal Plus or Classic mixer, L'Equip RPM blender, or Bosch Compact mixer's blender. This Blade Wrench is not included as standard equipment with any blender, and it does not work on the L'Equip vacuum blender for Bosch Universal mixers.
Both Bosch and L'Equip recommend cleaning their blenders without removing the blade assembly: Just add a couple drops of dish soap to 2 cups of warm water, run on high for 30-60 seconds, rinse and you're done!
It is recommended that you remove your blender's blade assembly only if repair or maintenance is required, such as gasket replacement, after years of use.
If you do need to remove your blade assembly and find that it's stuck tight, this wrench (and maybe a second person to hold the blender carafe) should do the job. It grips the lugs that protrude from the blade assembly base below the bottom of the blender; it does not grip the blades themselves, which is not necessary to remove the blade assembly.
All blade assemblies use a standard-direction thread, so you turn counter-clockwise to remove. Only a partial turn is required, then the blade assembly pulls straight out. Before replacing, spread a drop of vegetable oil on the gasket and re-seat the assembly by tightening very firmly by hand. The Blender Blade Wrench should not normally be used for reinstalling the blade assembly. It can be used for reinstalling if your hand strength isn't otherwise sufficient, but be careful not to overtighten with the wrench.
Some blade assemblies require a tipping motion during removal and reinsertion, to navigate one blade tip around the lip of the carafe's bottom opening.
Note: For Bosch blenders, the blender lid is designed to do double duty as a blade removal "wrench". However, with its stronger means of attachment and long-handled leverage, this accessory Blender Blade Wrench is much more effective for blade assemblies that are stuck tight.

Perfect accessory for the kitchen. It's great for couples or small families. I was worried that it might not be strong enough to crush ice but it had no problem. Love it!
This will do the same work on a smaller scale as the full size blender. It simply cannot be beat. Don't let the word Compact scare you. It does its job well.
When my old Bosch blender broke, I replaced it with a free-standing different model that worked terribly. I'm so happy to have my new Bosch that actually blends with power!
Have used both the blender and the juicer. Really like the blender. Haven't tried ice with it yet that is the real test. The juicer could use little sharper edges to the juicer portion (lemons were a little hard to do). Both products are well worth the price and I look for years of good service from both products. Your company was excellent in the service department too.
Love the Bosch blender. Powerful blending action, adds versatility and use to the already adaptive mixer. One less appliance on my counter!
I stayed with the Bosch Compact Mixer because I have the grinder attachment which will fit on it. I bought my first one in the early 80s and decided it was time for a new one. Yes, it lasted this long!! I really like the new look and some of the features. I like that the lid has an opening to add ingredients whereas the old lid did not. I don't like that the excess cord wraps around a piece on the back of the machine -- I am imagining all sorts of gunk getting in there where I can't clean it out. I don't know if the "feet" on this new machine will keep it from walking better than the older rubber corners. All in all though, I'm glad I made the decision to buy Bosch again.
I just got a Bosch Compact mixer and wanted the blender to go with it. Works great. Pleasant Hill personnel were so helpful when I contacted them and the item was received much quicker than expected. Our original blender was cracking after nearly 15 years of use. It had a long run and held up under a lot of kid abuse. Staying with Bosch products because they have the highest quality. The replacement is a welcome addition to our kitchen machine which still gets nearly daily use.
