Eden Foods organic pinto beans are soaked overnight and then pressure cooked in purifed water with zero chemical additives in a certified organic and kosher cannery.Pinto beans are the most popular American bean. Spotted when dry, pintos turn a pale rose when cooked. The word pinto in Spanish actually means painted. Pinto and black turtle beans are the main Mexican food beans and make good salsa, burritos, tostadas, tacos, tamale pies, soups, and salads. Pintos are used in the classic Italian soup, Pasta Fagioli.Eden Foods canned pinto beans contain kombu seaweed to aid in digestion, improve the flavor, and soften the beans. No salt added is added. The beans are packed in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans. Also, PHG does not sell any grains, beans, lentils, pulses or seeds sourced from China.Case of twelve 15 oz. cans.
