Some consider Danish Aebleskivers a breakfast pancake; some a dessert pastry, but this much is for sure: As hard as Aebleskiver is to spell, they're even harder to stop eating! The flavorful dough can be fried with a piece of apple inserted in the center or served with apple sauce or apple butter—Aebleskivers take their name from their fondness for apples.
