My husband and I are always looking for ways to use our homegrown fruits in ways other then just wine and jelly. This book has opened our eyes to the many healthy juice options, juices that I have never considered, or maybe never heard of... like Peach juice!!!
We just harvested a 5-gallon bucket of Meyers Lemons!! I've made 3 batches of lemon marmalade, lemonade, gave away enough for a friend to make a batch of marmalade and still have lemons in the fridge and some newly ripening ones on the tree. From this book, I will be drying lemon rind for citrus tea... ……..something I was not considering, nor was I even aware of something like tea made from citrus rind. I expect we will be enjoying hot citrus tea this winter, thanks to this wonderfully delightful book!
This is a very worthwhile book. I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys the fruits of the harvest.
I needed a little more detail on making apple jack.
Really interesting book. Great photos too!
