TSM D-10 Dehydrator w/Stainless Racks #24-1016
This stainless steel dehydrator has a strong 6.75" fan and 800 watt heating element. Airflow is from back to front and exits through vents in the front cover of the dehydrator for even drying and no "flavor sharing." Thermostat controls heat to the temperature you set, between 90°F minimum and 165°F maximum. Ten wire racks provide over 16 sq. ft. of drying area.
Low-temp oven option: The TSM D10 dehydrator features a full cabinet and can be operated with any number of trays—or no trays at all. This gives you the option of using it as a low-temperature cooking or drying oven.

After a year with my first, I just picked up my second. I opted for the stainless trays, and very glad I did. These units are gems, and priced right for what you get. Mine's been reliable and just great to use. Cleanup is easy. Ordering was trouble-free and delivery was very quick. Recommended all the way around!
Can't say enough good about this machine. Love the big rectangular racks, so easy to lay out jerky strips. I got stainless racks, good deal. It's much faster for my jerky than the more consumer-grade machines I've had in the past, and clearly is built to last. If you aren't dehydrating your own foods, go for it! The flavor is so much better than anything you can buy, and it's a lot of fun. And easy. If you dry highly sticky things (lots of natural sugars), I recommend adding the accessory mesh sheets. And I recommend PHG as highly (or more so!) even as the TSM dehydrator. Anything you need, PHG has you covered... mid-American values at your service.
I grow and dry a lot of strawberries, apples, pears (yum), peppers for salsa, and I make banana chips from store-bought bananas. I put a lot up, and often have all three units humming away at the same time. You can't beat these dehydrators with a stick, as they say.
After two full seasons now, I've had no problems at all with my D10 and it's a pleasure to use. I dry a wide variety of fruits and vegetables as well as mushrooms, and I've never had to rotate trays for even drying. It's fast, quiet enough, and well built. What else is there to ask for?
Simply perfect. Best jerky in 4-5 hours with 10 racks filled. Upgrade to stainless racks, worth the extra money.
Life is good with the D10. It's not too big, not too small. I guess you can call me Goldilocks.
Doing everything it should, I'm happy.
