Extra virgin olive oil from California Olive Ranch is cold pressed and has a fresh, floral aroma. The flavor is smooth with hints of green apple. This is a versatile oil and is great for baking, sautéing and roasting. Olives are grown in California. The glass bottle is green to keep the olive oil fresh longer.
Cook's Illustrated highly recommends California Olive Ranch extra virgin olive oil and they prefer it over the twice-as-expensive, Italian oil they also recommend.
