Great Addition to the Duo Set

I purchased the Kuhn Rikon Duromatic Duo Set from Pleasant Hill Grain a short time back, but wanted the additional lid so that I had two complete pressure cookers. The lid fit perfectly and now I can use both at the same time. Pleasant Hill Grain was very easy to work with and the prices were right. When I need additional things I will be looking at Pleasant Hill Grain first for them.

At first I tried replacing lid parts. But ran into problems with building up pressure. Finally I gave up and ordered the completed lid. Should have done this right from the start. The lid works perfectly. I bought in in March 2021 and it's now June 2022 and it still works well.

The only thing worth replacing if ever I needed to (but don't need to now) is the gasket.

Save yourself time and aggravation. When you need to replace a lid component, just by the whole lid.
