Filter Pro Dehydrator
The 530 watt L'EQUIP® Filter Pro™ dehydrator captures the full flavor and nutrition in your taste of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Its even airflow design is based on the proven L'Equip technology, and the Filter Pro adds an exclusive new dimension to dehydrating: Air filtration.
The Filter Pro pulls all air through a high efficiency filter element in its base before warming and circulating it through every tray. Airborne impurities are trapped before they can reach your food. The 4.5" fan is quiet and powerful.
The Filter Pro dehydrator's rectangular design stores compactly. Each tray has 1.2 square feet of drying area, and you can add trays to a maximum of 20, for up to 24 square feet of drying. The L'Equip Filter Pro dehydrator measures 17" L x 12" W x 12.1" H (with 6 trays.) Four of the Filter Pro's trays are standard 1" depth, and two trays are 1.5" deep for drying thicker foods.
The L'Equip dehydrator's computer control analyzes dehydrator's temperature constantly to ensure a stable food drying environment, and the temperature is adjustable between 95° and 158° F. Also included is a 24 hour, auto-shutoff timer.

The L'Equip Filter Pro dehydrator comes standard with four trays that are 1" deep and two trays that are 1.25" deep, and those all come with mesh screens. Add-on tray sets are available in either depth, and flexible mesh screens are included with each extra tray.
Flexible screens make sticky foods easier to remove. Screen flexes for easy removal of sticky fruits like pineapple. Use these screens with the "rough" side up. For super-sticky foods, cool in refrigerator to ease removal.

The L'Equip 528 and Filter Pro dehydrators comes with mesh screens for each tray, and add-on tray sets include mesh screens. So there is no need to order mesh screens unless you want extras or replacements. Mesh screens are dishwasher safe and indefinitely reusable.
Flexible screens make sticky foods easier to remove. Screen flexes for easy removal of sticky fruits like pineapple. Use these screens with the "rough" side up. For super-sticky foods, cool in refrigerator to ease removal. Screens are BPA-free.
The screens are also perfect for drying small items like spices and herbs that would normally fall through holes in the tray.

The L'Equip fruit leather trays fit the L'Equip Filter Pro and L'Equip 528 dehydrators. Two sheets fit on one tray, and four sheets come in a pack. Fruit leather sheets are dishwasher safe and indefinitely reusable. Dimensions are 6.1 x 10.7 inches, with a depth of 0.25 inches.
When drying any sweet fruit, either on standard trays or fruit leather trays, release will be improved by drying your food thoroughly, then letting it cool fully to room temperature before removing from the tray or sheet. For particularly sweet fruits such as berries, strawberries or apples (or anything you add sugar to), further cooling in the fridge can also be a big help.

The Filter Pro Dehydrator has been a great tool to have added to my kitchen. All last season O had it going non stop. I have just started using it again and it is still working. Filter pro pack trays are easy to clean and stack nicely. The Mesh sheets however, stain easily. The fruit leather trays are a waste of money. I used them once and they warped. They need to be a little deeper and made of a different material. I can't use them. I have not used the Yogurt cups.
I use my dryer for apple sticks, part halves, apple butter squares, banana sticks, the best gigantic red, black, brown raisins the size of small prunes, strawberries sliced and dried overnight. Warning: So good your children will have to be restrained from overeating.
For about 15 years I used a L'Equip 528 dehydrator purchased from Pleasant Hill Grain. About a month ago I noticed that it wouldn’t heat over 95 -98 degrees F. I emailed PHG to see if parts were available or if I must just get a new unit. They politely and promptly told me that I could no longer get parts for my unit. I had been on their website and noticed the "Filter Pro" which was built by the same company and the published dimensions were very close to the measured dimensions of my 528 so I asked, "Would my old trays fit the Filter Pro? " Again a prompt and polite reply. Bottom line is that I ordered the Filter Pro, it was delivered several days ahead of the scheduled date and the best part is that all of my old 528-model trays fit the Filter Pro and even with 12 trays, the Filter Pro has the capacity to handle them! I love my new dehydrator and have used it daily since it arrived.
We are very happy with the way this dehydrator performs. We have two of them now, which says it all.
This product was much more than I expected for the price. It's quiet.. and works like a charm. Even more surprising was the speed of delivery. I have bookmarked Pleasant Hill Grain for any future products. A great experience.
My first time, and I love it! I've done several types of fruit all of it was easy and tastes so good, and I've purchased several different kinds of veggies looking forward to to outcome! I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. The quality of the machine seems top notch!!
I picked this dehydrator to up grade my Magic Aire II dehydrator. The trays from my Magic Aire fit perfectly. This one has excellent capacity on its own but I love that you can add so many more if you want to. It is great quality and so nice that each tray comes with a screen. I love having temperature control, a timer and the filter. The rectangular shape makes it easier to store than a round one. It has a great warranty but I don't think I will need it.
First of all I was impressed with the customer service when I called to order my L'Equip Filter Pro dehydrator. Very friendly, helpful and thorough with all aspects of my order. I received my dehydrator so quickly it astounded me considering Pleasant Hill Grain is in Nebraska and I am in California! My first test run with the dehydrator was a recipe for kale chips. It took some experimenting to figure out the best temperature and time duration, but I did and the kale chips are fantastic! Every tray was evenly dehydrated. I love the fact that I can set a duration of time and temperature and the dehydrator will turn itself off. I also love the fact that it has a filter for intake air so air is cleaned before circulating around my food. The rectangular shape of the L'Equip fits perfectly on my kitchen shelf. I'm excited to try many more recipes and pleased with the options this reasonably priced dehydrator offers. It's awesome!

Bought this for our sons family.
Very happy with it with new upgrades.
Using them for years they only get better.
