With advanced blending technology and a wide range of easy to use features, users can create thick smoothies, hot soups, salsas and dips with a single touch, in this blender... making it a must for any kitchen!

The strong, cold-forged blade is 80% thicker and 10X stronger than traditional blades. In combination with the WildSide jar the Blendtec blenders are designed to pull ingredients from the top of the pitcher down, with the dull blade crushing ingredients at the bottom, rather than slicing them. The WildSide jar's innovative fifth side creates a vortex for extremely efficient blending.

The capacitive touch slider provides seamless precision speed control with 8 speeds (plus pulse) with the slide of a finger. It even goes a step further to help users achieve the perfect blend by illustrating which speed to use for stirring, chopping, mixing, blending, or pureeing. The multi-speed pulse provides an added burst of power at any speed.

Cycles: Smoothie, ice cream, whole juice, hot soup, and clean.

You may add 1-2 cups of wheat berries or other grains to your pitcher, but using your blender to grind grain will scratch the pitcher, turning it permanently cloudy. This will affect how your blender looks, but will not harm your food. To grind grain into flour we suggest purchasing one of these quality grain mills.
