Grabill Country Meats prepares premium quality canned beef, chicken, turkey and pork that are convenient, tasty and healthful for home cooks, campers, and sail boaters. This family owned company prepares their products in Indiana under the inspection of the USDA. Beginning with choice cuts of meat, Grabill lightly seasons their products with salt and pepper, seals them in cans and then pressure cooks the meat. Pressure cooking assures the meat is fully cooked and exceptionally tender. Grabill meats are terrific in soups, stews, casseroles, summertime meat salads and sandwiches. We use Grabill canned meats in our own kitchen at Pleasant Hill Grain. Everyone here agrees that the flavors are excellent, and we appreciate how easy they are to prepare. Seasoned & Cooked
All meats are lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, hand packed to a net weight of 13 ounces (with no added water or broth), sealed and then pressure cooked. While cooking, some natural juices cook out of the meat and can be used later in the dish you’re preparing.
The canned beef chunks are made exclusively using the chuck tender cut, making it a superior product with excellent flavor and texture.
Light & Dark Canned Chicken
Chicken: some like it dark, some like it white. Grabill offers you the best of both worlds with their boneless chicken made with half dark meat from the thigh and half white meat from the breast. The chunks average 3/4 inch, which lets you make great chicken and noodles, soup, fantastic chicken salad and much more!
