The Redmond company has delivered this natural, premium sea salt since 1984. Redmond’s RealSalt is never chemically treated, bleached, or kiln dried. It gives you more than 60 naturally occurring trace minerals including calcium, potassium and magnesium, with nothing added or removed. You can even see these trace minerals in the red, grey, pink and black coloring of the salt. It’s these trace elements that give Redmond’s RealSalt its distinctive taste. All-Natural Salt
RealSalt’s salty-sweet flavor has made it a leading brand in the sea salt industry. Most processed salts are stripped of trace minerals and contain anti-caking chemicals. Some of the additives to other salts include aluminum, which makes salt easier for processors to sift. Dextrose, a sugar, is also added to many salts to keep another additive, iodine, from turning yellow.

Crystal Sizes & Packaging
RealSalt is available in a variety of crystal sizes from coarse to fine grain, and packaging options are offered from a small, 6 gram travel shaker to a large, 25-pound bag. Using bulk salt is a great way to preserve food, and it's nice to have in your pantry for refilling a smaller container for use while cooking. RealSalt is also available in a Kosher-certified option.
Organic Seasoning Blends
RealSalt is available in three Kosher-certified seasoning blends:
- Organic Garlic Salt contains RealSalt and organic garlic.
- Organic Onion Salt contains RealSalt and organic onion.
- Organic Seasoning Salt contains RealSalt, organic onion, organic coriander, organic mustard, organic black pepper, organic paprika, organic celery seed, organic turmeric, & organic parsley.
All of the seasoning blends are Kosher Certified by the Orthodox Union and each comes in an 8.5-ounce shaker. The term “Kosher Salt” is used two ways: Firstly, to denote products that are approved for use by the Jewish community, and secondly, to refer to salt with a slightly larger granulation size than regular table salt. RealSalt conforms to both definitions.
