Cox Honey company began offering raw, natural, unfiltered honey in 1880. The honey bees fly through the hills of Idaho among high mountain clover. The honey produced has a mild taste and gorgeous amber color. Cox Honey is never mixed with other types of off-shore honey. To process the honey for packing, it’s just warmed and screened for contaminants before being transferred directly into quality-tested squeeze bottles and jugs.

Pure, Raw Honey

There are clear differences in the appearance of pure (or raw) honey and pasteurized honey. Cox Honey comes from mountain clover and will appear to be cloudy. The particles that seem to be clouding the honey are actually vitamins, pollens, and enzymes that are often removed when honey is filtered or pasteurized. With no pasteurization, these elements are left in the honey to be consumed and enjoyed.

Health Benefits of Honey

Raw honey is rich in vitamins and minerals. Unlike white sugar, which has nothing but empty carbohydrates, Cox Honey contains nutritious qualities including vitamin C, riboflavin, thymine, and several B-vitamins.
