The WonderMix Revolution is an exciting new entry in the field of heavy duty stand mixers. Its German-engineered design has the strength to mix the heaviest batters and the versatility to perform the full range of tasks you need your primary food prep machine to handle.
The WonderMix Revolution is made by the manufacturer of the popular WonderMill electric grain mill. Its design is based on an existing successful German design, with upgrades to the motor and transmission. At 900 watts, the WonderMix Revolution now has the most power of any German mixer design. This power is connected by direct drive to the blender, providing extremely powerful blending results. The motor has three speeds as well as a pulse feature.
Connecting the motor’s 900 watts of power to the bowl drive is a drive train of exceptionally heavy duty gears in a sealed metal enclosure. Permanently lubricated, the gears are made of an advanced polymer material for extremely long life even under hard and steady use. The transmission is the Achilles heel of many mixers; in the WonderMix Revolution it’s a strong point.
The Tru-Mix dough hook mixes and kneads quickly and thoroughly. The mixing bowl’s 5.5 quart capacity allows you to mix dough for up to six loaves of bread (or less if you wish), and the Tru-Mix dough hook takes only about five minutes to completely knead even a full load of dough. The circulatory kneading of the WonderMix Revolution does an excellent job of developing gluten, so your dough will rise properly and your baked goods will have the light and uniform texture you want. A comfortable handle gives you a secure grip on the bowl, and the bowl locks positively on the mixer base. The dough divider works together with the Tru-Mix dough hook, creating a cross-action that mixes and kneads quickly and thoroughly.
Soft silicone feet provide a good grip on your counter, and combined with the proportions of the mixer bowl, let you mix and knead small or large batches without having the mixer “walk” on your countertop. The bowl’s center drive shaft separates from the bowl, making both shaft and bowl easy to clean up (and both are dishwasher safe.)
The WonderMix Revolution has no overhead gearbox, because it's powered from below—a design with several advantages. The wide base of the machine provides space to transmit motor power to the bowl using extra large, high strength gears. The gears in overhead-driven machines are small and prone to breaking, they transmit torque inefficiently, and the heat in their tight enclosure leads to early failure when worked hard. In contrast to top heavy overhead-drive machines, the bottom drive design gives the WonderMix a very low center of gravity that makes it very easy and comfortable to handle. Bottom drive also provides full bowl access. You see everything that's happening in the bowl, and adding ingredients is super easy.
The BPA-free bowl of the WonderMix Revolution is shaped like a large bundt cake form, a design that excels at both mixing and whipping. Twin whips mount on top of the narrow center column, driven from below, and they spin rapidly as they rotate. The bowl's shape ensures that your ingredients are mixed perfectly, as lumps can't escape the whisks. Whip as little as two egg whites or half a cup of cream!
Does your family cook gluten-free? The WonderMix Revolution provides the control you need to make delicious gluten-free recipes, tailored specifically to your family's needs. Nothing approaches the tastiness of homemade and fresh!
The deluxe package includes the mixing bowl with drive shaft, splash ring and lid, Tru-Mix dough hook, dough divider, French whips, Turbo blender and the cookie whips. If you need a replacement of any of these items, see our .
Warranty: 1 year overall plus 3 years motor/transmission parts; lifetime mixer bowl, dough hook, drive shaft and blender bowl.

I bought the WonderMix as a replacement for my Bosch Universal. Before commenting on the WonderMix, I have comments on those considering the Bosch. That machine lasted only 7 years, which I figure amounts to just under $0.50 per use. The small food processor only lasted 3 years before the plastic ring that holds the shredder blades tore itself to pieces (was unable to find a replacement part of just that ring). The power dial came off after 6 years and I had to hold it to use it. Finally the bowl simply refused to come off the motor. Had to trash it, and came back to Pleasant Hill for a replacement.
I was thrilled to see the Wondermix at roughly half the cost of the Bosch, I was not in a mood to double down on that unfortunate purchase. I have used the machine for a few weeks and it is great. It seems just as powerful as the Bosch, and I like the way the bowl and blender attach to the motor, just as secure, but without the locking mechanism that always annoyed me about the Bosch (and was its eventual undoing).
The only downside is the noise. When mixing dough it is very loud and shrill. The Bosch was quieter, but was also intolerable. My solution is a $10 pair of woodworker's ear protection, which I am used to wearing in my home office and my workshop.
If I get five years out of it, it's a win over the Bosch.
I'm a breadmaker. Been making bread every other week for over 40 yrs. After my 38 yr. old Oster died, I purchased a KitchenAid. The KitchenAid may be great for some things, but it's not a bread mixer. Love the easy access bowl of the WonderMix. Flour stays in the bowl, doesn't shoot all over the place. Can now make more loaves at a time. Also tried a double batch of cookies. Perfect. All that and at a reasonable price.
After weeks of research, I finally decided to buy this WonderMix Mixer! Beats my Kitchen Aid, hands down! The dough is so soft, and rises twice as high! And, it's less than half the cost of the Kitchen Aid.
I saw a comparison between a Kitchen Aid mixer and the WonderMix. I've always been happy with my Kitchen Aid bit when I watched that video, I was impressed that the WonderMix did not throw flour all over the place when turned on. I bought one since my other machine is starting to go out and I'm super happy with it. It's very powerful and it's quicker at mixing things up without a lot of mess. I love having the blender as part of the machine too.
My wife used to make our breads years ago, but with working and volunteering, I decided to give it a go. I'm a very handy fix it guy, who does like to cook, but never really tried making bread. The WonderMill and WonderMix are great. My first time, you would have thought I've been doing it for years. My wife raved about it, so guess who has a new job: ) We haven't even finished the two loaves I made, and I'm already thinking about what I want to try next. Absolutely love these machines
I love my mixer and am planning to purchase one for my daughter for Christmas!
I am very excited about my new mixer. Hoping that it gives me years of use and enjoyment. Overall very please with the look, accessories, and size.
Just received our Wonder Mix a few days ago. Easy to use. Compact for storage. Perfect attachments.
Does everything we expected.
It's very sturdy and I like that it can make a big recipe! However, the motor during operation is quite a bit louder than most mixers.
