When you purchase the Bosch Meat Grinder attachment for the Universal mixer, it includes a 4.5mm disk, a good size for making hamburger. (The millimeter size refers to the diameter of the holes in the disk.) The small 2mm disk is for mincing. For large chunks, use the 8 or 13mm disks.

Available in 2mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 13mm.

Meat grinder disks are also referred to as meat grinder plates.

Grinder Disk Availability

Was thrilled to find a different grinder disk for my Bosch meat grinder. Bought my Bosch attachment in early 1980's- it still works fabulously. Wanted to grind cranberries for relish and needed bigger pieces. The new disk is just right. Was so happy I talked with the people at Pleasant Hill Grain. Their online pictures of the disks showed me which disk I needed. Will most certainly order from them again as they have many parts for my older BOSCH mixer and attachments. Thanks.
