Clearance: Tabletop Fruit Press 1.25 Gallon
This is an R1 clearance item. Please check the tables below to see how we rate our clearance items.
Excellent for apples or grapes, this extremely well-built 1.25 gallon press is great for smaller production quantities. The press includes an anti-rotation plate that can be screwed to your choice of surfaces; one handy approach is to screw the plate to a small sheet of plywood which can then easily be clamped to your table or other support. After the anti-rotation plate is fastened down, the main press assembly can be lifted out and replaced in a moment. After a pressing cycle, the stainless side rods flex apart at top to allow the assembly of screw yoke, forcing screw and pressing plate to be lifted out for removal of the spent apple pomace.
“I work with solid equipment in the oilfield and this press fits in that category. Impressive quality, solid build!”
– Patrick F., MS
The tabletop press is also perfect for making nut milk including almond milk, soy milk, rice milk and coconut milk, as well as squeezing honey from the comb.
The pressing basket measures 5-3/4" x 11-1/8" high and is constructed of heavy gauge (.035") polished stainless steel. The pressing plate is also stainless steel and it measures 5.5" diameter. The juice tray and the anti-rotation plate are made of heavy duty, food grade plastic. Overall height of the press with the pressing screw turned down is 15", and the base plate measures 7-3/4" x 7-3/4". Handle length is 9-3/4".
The press includes a fine-mesh, food-grade nylon pressing bag that contains mash even under very high pressure. A 5/8" x 8-3/4" drain tube attaches to the drain spout of the juice tray. A plastic sleeve is included, to be slipped over the outside of the pressing basket, for some foods that may otherwise squirt juice during pressing.
If you ever want to press only a very small quantity of your product at a time, you can do that with this press because when fully turned down, the pressing plate reaches all the way to the pan, leaving zero gap.
“Making pear juice just got easier. I only process a few gallons a day, but this has saved time and appears to made well enough to last.”
– Kevin B., WI
It's important to keep the forcing screw well lubricated with food safe grease; this greatly reduces wear and turning effort, and dramatically increases maximum pressure and juice yield.
Mounting screws for the anti-rotation plate are not included.

Expanded Ratings Descriptions
|R1||Very close scrutiny is required to tell that the item isn’t brand new. Working surfaces may show slight wear; for example, the bottom-inside of a Bosch mixer bowl may show swirl marks because Bosch mixer whips are designed to “float” against bottom of bowl. Non-working surfaces (cabinet, control panel) look essentially new. Carton may not be perfect.|
|R2||Typically has a small scuff or mark on a non-working surface like a mixer cabinet or the top of a pressure cooker lid.|
|FR||Mostly returned items which have been brought fully up to new-equipment performance specs at the factory.|
|D||Demonstration items have been operated briefly at Pleasant Hill Grain.|
|DIS||These items have never been used but we no longer sell them at full price in our store because it was discontinued by us or by the manufacturer.|
|U||Has had light use.|
|SDB||Has moderate damage or blemish on a non-working surface, such as a scratch or dent in the housing, or paint blemish.|
|NOS||A brand new item that isn't the newest model.|

By David S., CA on 7/24/2016 - Verified BuyerThis is just what the doctor ordered. With the press and the mesh bag, I get the most juice out of my apples. Couldn't be a happier guy, Thanks again17 out of 17 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By David D. in UT on 11/19/2016 - Verified BuyerIf you are juicing a small amount of fruit this works well. We used it for apples. The bolt at the base leaked. I may just need to be tightened but it wasn't enough to be a big deal.15 out of 15 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By HISAYO M. in UT on 10/12/2018 - Verified BuyerI lived in Japan for many years and learned to love and appreciate soy milk (tonyu). Living in the US we found the available soy milk had unnecessary ingredients in it and now make our own using the Tabletop Fruit Press, 1.25 gallon. Initially I imagined it would be much more difficult to clean especially the filter/bag which rinses completely clean in a minute. There were no clogged holes or leftover debris and the organic, pure soy milk surpasses everything on the market! We really love this press, an enjoyable daily activity. Also, the instructions were easy to follow, very simple to use, I recommend it.14 out of 14 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Loa A. in WA on 5/1/2019 - Verified BuyerI purchased the press for apples, but just couldn't wait to try it out....so I purchased (not on sale... aagh) a bunch of tomatoes at the local store. I love the press! It was easy to understand, to put together, and to use! Even cleaning was easy. I do need to get a board to anchor it, but for a few tomatoes... and an excited little old lady... it was perfect! I can't quit talking about it to my prepper group, my senior group... or the kids at school where I work! It's marvelous!7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Antonella G. in MD on 3/18/2017 - Verified BuyerI love my press! I salt and soak vegetables in vinegar, before preserving them in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). Squeezing them by hand was so hard and time consuming... not anymore! :)7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?
