Skeppshult Cast Iron & Walnut Peppermill, 6 inch
Enjoy the quality of Skeppshult's precision casting in their pepper grinder! Skeppshult takes pride in making all their products to the highest quality standards and this six inch spice mill will be sure to impress you with its fine design and crafting. Grind peppercorn or freshly roasted spices in this mill and enjoy the rustic look of the cast iron paired with the warm, walnut wood finish. Design by Swedish/Danish designer Carl&Carl.
The grinding mechanics is constructed of cast iron, which means your spices never come in contact with plastic and the spice mill will last for generations. Since the walnut lid is attached to the cast iron body with the aid of a strong magnet it's easy to detach the lid to fill with spices.

“Your customer service is the best. All companies could learn from you and your employees. Very courteous and prompt.”

Skeppshult of Sweden manufactures artisanal cast iron cookware and cook's tools from strictly controlled raw materials in their factory in Småland. Made without harmful chemicals, their products have an exceptionally long life span, which explains how they can provide a 25 year cast iron warranty. Their natural and environmentally friendly cast iron products are made without harmful chemicals and require little maintenance.
Skeppshult's factory operates the only remaining foundry in Scandinavia making household products in cast iron. Many phases in the manufacturing are still pure hand craftsmanship and dependent upon great professional skill. Undergoing an average of ten quality control inspections before completion, your Skeppshult products will withstand year after year of heavy use.
Carl E. Andersson established his foundry on the shores of the Nissan river in 1906. Much has happened since then, but Skeppshult's commitment to fine craftsmanship remains strong. In an age of mass-produced mediocrity, a Skeppshult cast iron piece is a connection to a timeless standard of excellence. A Skeppshult pan or kitchen accessory is both a tool and an inspiration—an investment you'll never regret.

By Daniel F. in FL on 8/31/2018 - Verified BuyerVery nice, heavy duty product, has a luxurious feel. I was looking online for a pepper mill that has no plastic parts touching the pepper and I found it! It would make a good gift, it has that gourmet feel.4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. By Dan Z on 5/3/2019 - Verified BuyerIf you're like me, you love to have a top-quality item for something you use a lot. The pepper mill gets heavy use at my house so I wanted to get something both built-to-last and beautiful.
I have paired this with the little salt swing and they are now on their way to being two of the most used items on my kitchen counter. I am really happy with the grind that it gives. Note that it is not an adjustable grind. But so far it is giving me a nice "table grind" without being too overly fine. If you want extra coarse or cracked pepper I'd recommend a mortar and pestle or probably the "swing" pepper mill.
Shipping was prompt and all items were packaged with care. I look forward to more purchases with this company. I am so happy to have found your site. Thanks again!1 person found this review helpful. Did you?

By Jenny J. in FL on 4/10/2019 - Verified BuyerThis is a really solid, well made product! One thing to be aware of is the weight (it is very heavy, and likely not good for someone with arthritis or wrist problems).2 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
