World-famous Silpat® Nonstick Silicone Mats promote even cooking and keep food from sticking without greasing cookie sheets and jelly roll pans. The original Silpat mat incorporates glass fiber within the mat to keep it very flat. Can be trimmed with a scissors to fit smaller pans if desired. Silpat is effective in temperatures from -40° F to 500° F.

Wipe the Silpat® with a damp, soft sponge, then rinse with clean water. Shake to remove excess water and dry in open air. A weak solution of detergent or soap may be used if needed. The oily feeling after washing is normal, as is discoloration. Strong flavored foods may leave a trace of their scent on the Silpat®.

Doing the pandemic cliche baking... expanding my range. This mat is great for rolling out dough, and fits perfectly in my half sheet cookie pans as a reusable sub for parchment paper. Probably will find more uses as I keep learning.

After finding a tiny crack in my old Silpat liner my husband went all the way to France to find the replacement. Ok, not just for the liner, but it is that important in our kitchen. They didn't have the right size in the store and he was returning home in about an hour. It turned out that I had to order a part for my Bosch mixer and we saw Pleasant Hill had Silpats. We ordered one, it arrived quickly and was immediately put to work. If you have never baked on one of these it will change how often you want to bake things that are notorious for sticking. I even used it to grill my vegetables in the oven. We have since bought the grilling mat for that. Silpat is easy to clean and store and lasts a long time even with the abuse my family gave it.

I never knew what I was missing out on until I ordered these liners. Truly nonstick and very easy to clean. I was even able to use the smaller one in a bread loaf pan. They fit perfectly on my baking trays.

Not as life-changing as expected

Easy to use and to clean. I do think it gives different results from parchment paper and I prefer the paper, but it’s nice not to have to constant use and buy morre paper. I use it for cookies especially since I can can wipe down the crumbs between batches keeping the tray hot in the oven.
