Quick and Dependable
NutriMill’s best seller, the NutriMill Classic, allows you to grind up to 20 cups of flour at one time. Just pour grain into the hopper and turn on the mill to quickly grind your choice of fine, medium, or coarse flour. The NutriMill Classic’s grinding mechanism is self-cleaning and it operates dust free. NutriMill also offers the L’Equip Flour Bagger attachment for the NutriMill Classic so you can easily bag your flour for later use.
The NutriMill Classic and NutriMill Plus grain mills are impact mills. Impact mills use concentric rings of stainless steel fins to smack the grain at a very high speed, instantly bursting it into a powder. These mills will produce a range of flours from coarsely ground, to very fine, flour.
The NutriMill Harvest Mill has synthetic stone burrs that will produce a range of textures from cracked grain to fine flour. This mill has a bamboo cabinet and a variety of trim colors to choose from.
The Benefits of Fresh Flour
Store bought flour pales in comparison to homemade flour—literally. Store bought flour is often bright white due to heavy amounts of processing. Nearly all the vitamins, healthy oils, and fiber are stripped away to give the flour a longer shelf life. What you’re left with is a bag of empty carbohydrates that’s nutritionally very similar to white sugar. When you grind your own flour with a NutriMill grain mill, all the wholesome nutrients are left intact. If you have extra flour, simply store it in the refrigerator or freezer.
NutriMill grain mills can grind quinoa, brown rice, amaranth, and more to make delicious gluten-free flours. Try mixing different kinds of grains together for unique flavors and textures. Check out the Gluten Free Gourmet Bakes Bread Book for over 200 gluten-free recipes and tips.
