The most popular items in our Emile Henry product line are the bread baking dishes. The round bread cloche, baguette cloche, and bread loaf baker are fantastic for artisan bread making at home. The clay lids on the boule, baguette and loaf pans trap steam from your bread while it’s baking, creating an environment similar to a bakery’s steam injection oven. Using steam while baking bread produces golden brown, crisp crusts and a tender crumb. Conveniently, the baguette cloche will bake three 13.5 x 2.5-inch French baguettes all at once! 12 and 14.5-inch pizza stones come in deep red (rouge) and black (noir) and share the same innovative flame technology as the stewpots described above. With their micro-crazed glaze, crusts turn out well-baked and crispy—just like in a pizza oven. You can cut directly on the glazed pizza stone without damaging or scratching the surface. These stones can be used in conventional and convection ovens in addition to gas, charcoal and natural wood grills.
