Very Blue Blueberry Jam

There is nothing tastier than homemade jam. Simply mash the blueberries and add sugar and lemon juice, then press START. Your Zojirushi breadmaker will do all the cooking for you!

Ingredients:

  • 3 c. (360g) blueberries*
  • 3/4 c. (149g) sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. (14ml) lemon juice

Directions:

  1. 1. Make sure the kneading blade(s) are properly attached and add the ingredients to the baking pan in the order listed.
  2. 2. Place the baking pan into the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the cord into the outlet. Select the JAM course and press START. Cooking time is 1 hour 20 minutes.
  3. 3. When the cycle completes, press CANCEL and pour the jam into a sterilized, heat-resistant container and refrigerate or freeze to thicken.
  4. 4. Enjoy with your favorite slice of bread!
