Source: Zojirushi
Pizza is one of those foods that changes completely if you buy it from a restaurant versus making it from scratch at home. The difference is incredible! Homemade pizza is fun to make and having a good crust is essential.
Active Time
30 minutes
Total Time
2 hours and 15 minutes
Yields
1 pizza crust

Ingredients:

Pizza Crust

  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

Pizza Toppings

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (1 oz.) pkg. dry Ranch-style dressing mix
  • 1 c. fresh broccoli
  • 1 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1 c. chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 c. chopped cauliflower
  • 1 c. shredded carrots
  • 1 c. shredded cheese

Directions:

Pizza Crust

  1. 1. Add ingredients in the baking pan in the order listed, and prepare dough using the Dough cycle. Remember to add the liquids first.
  2. 2. When the cycle completes, remove the dough from the baking pan onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into quarters. Form a smooth ball, place in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let dough rest for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  4. 4. Remove the dough, place on parchment paper and roll out using a rolling pin to create a 12‑inch circle (For vegetable pizza: roll dough out to a large rectangle). Use a fork and poke holes on the dough. Move the dough onto a pizza pan. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10‑15 minutes.
  5. 5. Let cool 15 minutes without removing it from the cookie sheet.

Pizza Toppings

  1. 1. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and dry Ranch dressing. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
  2. 2. Arrange broccoli, tomato, green bell pepper, cauliflower, shredded carrots, and cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer.
  3. 3. Chill for one hour, slice and serve.
