Roasted Root Vegetable Medley Baby Food

Food always tastes best when in season. So give your child a delicious treat when these nutrient-rich winter veggies are at their peak of freshness and flavor.

1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup parsnips, peeled, diced, roasted, and cooled
  • 1/2 cup rutabaga (Swede), peeled, diced, roasted, and cooled
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbs breast milk or your choice of alternative milk product

Directions:

  1. 1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. 2. Select Variable 1 or the 8-ounce Purée program (if available).
  3. 3. Start the machine, slowly increase to its highest speed, and blend for 1 minute; or start the machine and allow the 8-ounce Purée program to complete.
