Today we're shipping orders for in-stock items placed September 9. Despite higher order volume, our amazing shipping team continues to ship orders quickly. Recently we opened an additional shipping line that’s reducing processing time, and we've hired 15 new team members in the past 90 days! If you need to contact us, EMAIL is better than phone and if you have questions about your order please check our FAQ page before contacting us. Our phone volume is so high that it’s literally impossible for us to answer calls live now, or return calls quickly. The Hampton showroom is temporarily closed. We greatly appreciate your business as we do our very best to serve you!

Playtime at a standstill? Come to the rescue with this simple recipe for playdough and you're an instant hero!
Total Time
3 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 tbsp. canola oil
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Directions:

  1. 1. Add ingredients to WildSide+ or FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid.
  2. 2. Blend on medium speed for 75 seconds.
  3. 3. Use a spatula to remove playdough from the jar.
  4. 4. If you’d like to add color to your dough, place it in a stainless steel bowl and add a few drops of food coloring. While wearing latex gloves, knead the food coloring gently into the dough, until desired color is reached.
  5. 5. Allow to cool before handling.
  6. 6. Store in an airtight container.

Author's Notes:

Note: You may need to add more flour depending on your climate. If it's too sticky, continue to add flour a little at a time until desired consistency is reached. Some users add a package of KoolAid mix to achieve bright colors. Baby oil instead of canola may help the dough last longer, however, it is no longer edible.
