Easy Apple Slices Dip

Quick to put together and something most everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 c. Brown Sugar or Sucanant
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Apples, try Red Delicious, Gala, Brauburn, Fuji, and Golden Delicious
  • 1 c. Lemon Juice (for dipping apples in)

Directions:

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, sweetener, and cinnamon.
  2. 2. Using an OXO Hand Mixer blend until well combined.
  3. 3. Using a silicone spatula transfer dip into a Duralex glass bowl with lid.
  4. 4. Wash apples with Biokleen Produce Wash and water.
  5. 5. Using an apple slicer, core and slice the apples.
  6. 6. Dip the apple slices briefly in lemon juice to retard browning.
  7. 7. Arrange the apple slices on a pretty plate around the bowl of dip and serve.

Author's Notes:

Try using other sweeteners such as Maple Syrup, Agave, or Clover Honey keeping in mind the liquid sweetener will result in a thinner consistency dip. This dip keeps well in the refrigerator for several days.
