Put your Nutella and bananas away, there's a new dessert in town! It’s the Blackberry Pizza With Ricotta, Pistachios & Honey. This pizza will seriously impress your guests without having to put in the hard work.
Yields
1 12" pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. of blackberries
  • Handful of pistachios
  • 1 tbsp. of honey + extra for drizzling
  • 1 c. of ricotta

Directions:

  1. 1. Once your dough is ready, light up your Uuni wood-fired oven and pre heat for 10 to 15 minutes (keep that door closed!). Aim for 932˚F (500˚C) on the stone baking board inside. You can check the temperature inside your Ooni quickly and easily using an infrared thermometer.
  2. 2. While you wait for your Uuni to pre heat, grind up the pistachios in a mortar and pestle (or place them in a sandwich bag and use the back of a large spoon/rolling pin to crush).
  3. 3. Mix 1 tablespoon of honey into the ricotta.
  4. 4. Dust a small amount of flour over your pizza peel. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to 12" and lay it out on your pizza peel.
  5. 5. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly across the pizza base and top with the blackberries.
  6. 6. Slide the pizza into your Uuni wood-fired oven and close the door. Using your pizza peel, rotate every 15 to 20 seconds for an even coverage until cooked and then remove.
  7. 7. Top with crushed pistachios and a drizzle of honey.
