Description
NutriMill Artiste Mixer
Designed with serious bakers in mind, Nutrimill's Artiste stand mixer is perfect for all sorts of families. It has more than enough strength for all your mixing and kneading tasks, with a strong 650-watt motor and a high efficiency transmission that's exceptionally good at getting torque from the motor to the work in the bowl. The Artiste can easily mix up to 6 pounds of whole grain dough. And it's also your machine when you need to do a very small batch, deftly handling as little as 1-1/4 pounds. The dough hook (with extender), metal whip drive, and whips are included standard.
The Artiste's bottom-drive design provides unobstructed access to what's going on in the bowl. You see what's going on so much better without a big overhead gearbox in the way, and adding ingredients is an absolute breeze. The bottom drive configuration also puts the weight of the motor and transmission down low. So rather than being top-heavy, tippy and hard to handle as most stand mixers are, the Artiste is light and easy to handle, and it's so stable that you couldn't tip it over if you tried. Its super-tough polypropylene bowl also features a deep lip all the way around its rim for a comfortable and secure grip even when your fingers are buttered.

“Your outstanding orientation to customer satisfaction has set the standard for me for how a company should work with a customer.”
– Jim B., World Cup Coffee Shop, NC
The Artiste's dough hook was designed to mimic hand kneading, and the attached dough hook extender makes it easy to mix even small batches. Mixing and kneading are fast and efficient, so gluten is developed rapidly without overheating or over-kneading. Be sure to check out the short videos above that demonstrate how much more effective the Artiste is compared to conventional mixers at a variety of basic mixing tasks. Imagine being able to make 10 dozen cookies in a single batch! You may not need to do such large batches often, but it's great to know your mixer has this level of strength and durability! The Artiste mixer is perfect for cranking out volumes of sandwich loaves, creating delicious artisan breads, or creating the lightest soufflés.
A wide range of optional accessories extends the versatility of the Artiste mixer. In addition to innovative accessories made by L'Chef/Nutrimill, the Artiste also accepts all of the accessories that fit the main drive connection point of the Bosch Universal mixer. Attachments include a Spiralizer, Pasta Maker, Meat Grinder, Large Slicer Shredder, Ice Cream Maker, Citrus Juicer, and Flour Sifter, and more. The Artiste comes standard with the dough hook (and dough hook extender), and also includes whips as standard equipment, for tasks such as making whipped cream or meringue.
The Artiste comes in a variety of attractive colors to match your kitchen décor, and with its compact design and cord storage, it fits nicely on your counter and can also be stored easily.
The Nutrimill Artiste stand mixer is available with black, red or silver trim.

By Diane S. in MN on 12/19/2018 - Verified BuyerMy first attempt at bread I put in everything like I have always done with my KitchenAid, I was ready to send it back. Then I read the instructions, Liquids than slowly add flour. The bread dough was beautiful, it kneaded like a champ. Than I tried creaming peanut butter and melted butter with wire whisks. They broke into pieces. Use only for light whipping it says, So I will need to get different whisks and will continue to use my kitchenaid for cookies until I get cookie paddles. I think I will love this for bread dough, which is what I primarily bought it for anyway.Moderator:
The Artiste has more power than a mixer like the Kitchen Aid, both because of the motor's power and also because its transmission delivers torque more efficiently. This makes it extra important to follow the correct procedures and use the right tools, because unlike weak mixers, the Artiste's power can wreck attachments that are used in the wrong way. When used according to directions, the Artiste not only excels at mixing and kneading dough, but is excellent for the full range of other stand mixer functions as well. Thank you for your reveiw, Diane!

By Sandi B. in DE on 2/27/2019 - Verified BuyerReceived my mixer and put it to the test - made whipped cream fast - made pizza dough - plan on using this a lot and since I don't have a lot of counter space it is not so heavy I cannot lift it which is a big reason I purchased it and the fact that I can use Bosch Universal attachments with it.14 out of 14 people found this review helpful. By Joyce G. in VA on 12/26/2018 - Verified BuyerI was on the fence between the Bosch or the Nutrimill. I spoke to a very pleasant and knowledgeable customer service person and we decided on the Nutrimill for my needs. I've used it several times and love it! I use it primarily for kneading dough and my bread loaves are now incredible and scrumptious! I can make cakes and cookies and ALL kinds of breads. It’s easy to use, I’ve watched several YouTube videos, and am so glad I got it. If I ever have problems I'll call PHG customer service as they actually train on the machines they sell. So they know what they're talking about. It doesn’t get better than that!11 out of 11 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Jay S., TX on 12/31/2018 - Verified BuyerReally love my Nutrimill Artiste! I have friends who have the Bosch mixer and it kneads dough just as well as theirs and I got this for half that price. I ordered this on the 20th of December and it arrived 2 days later! Pleasant Hill customer service is excellent they really care about their customer's satisfaction. Will definitely purchase from this company again!9 out of 9 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Dennis A. in AZ on 2/15/2020 - Verified BuyerI've been grinding my own flour and baking bread for many years. I have almost always used a KitchenAid Stand mixer to mix the ingredients and knead the dough. Trying to add flour to the running mixer always made a mess. This Nutrimill mixer is infinitely easier to use. In addition, the bread that I bake comes out much better, the texture is fantastic so I am thinking it does a better job kneading. But what makes it really great is that, unlike the KitchenAid, my wife will let me keep in on the counter because she uses it to prepare quick breads and cookies. She refused to use the KitchenAid and has burned out several hand mixers making cookie dough. If you are thinking about making this purchase don't hesitate as you will definitely enjoy it.8 out of 8 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Moonpie on 4/28/2019 - Verified BuyerI’ve been doing more baking since I retired a couple of years ago. I found a fab recipe for cheese biscuits, but the dough is very stiff. I burned up my ancient Sunbeam on the fifth batch. All my friends have Kitchen Aids, but I have no counter space for a super heavy appliance. I can put the 14 lb. Nutrimill Artiste in a bottom cabinet and easily lift it when I need it. It shows no strain making the cheese biscuits using the cookie paddles. The bowl scraper saved time and made cleanup easy. I could not be happier and look forward to trying lots of other recipes.7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Nancy J. in MO on 12/8/2018 - Verified BuyerI saw the Artiste mentioned by Amy Burks on her Amy Learns to Cook Facebook page. I had wanted a Bosch but just couldn’t justify it since I have a Kitchenaid I love. Then I saw the Artiste and started looking seriously. I researched it and finally took the plunge and I’m so glad I did. I love it! It doesn’t take up that much room on my counter and has more power than my KA. The customer service at Pleasant Hill Grain is awesome. They were knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions.7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Jerry Pritchett on 11/28/2020 - Verified BuyerI began making bread from scratch over 40 years ago. Young hands made kneading easy and a pleasure. Enter old age with the attendant arthritis and weaker hands. I knew this day was coming because my 30 year old Kitchenaid mixer had never mixed dough because of the horror stories about burning up motors and stripped gears. Plus, as I said, I loved mixing dough by hand.
I researched for over a year, reading reviews, watching videos and counting the money in my piggy bank. Did I mention my wife and I are retired and living on a limited income.
Finally the day came and I placed my order for the NutriMill Artiste Mixer. After it arrived, it didn't get a chance to rest before I put it to work. After mixing and kneading, my hands and wrists were pain free. Yeah.
I was so impressed with this mixer, I ordered some accessories that day.
BTW, in all my research I determined that Pleasant Hill Grain was the best place to purchase it from. No other company has such glowing reviews regarding customer service. That is more important to me than price and the great thing is their prices are fantastic. I couldn't be more pleased.6 out of 6 people found this review helpful. Did you? -
