Quiet, super-safe, extremely attractive, and "everyday practical"... If you don't associate those words with pressure cookers, it can only be because you haven't experienced Kuhn Rikon Duromatic... and you're in for a big treat!

These new Kuhn Rikon "Turn Top" pressure cookers have a unique pressure relief valve. With most Kuhn Rikon pressure cookers, pressure can be released by pressing and holding the stem down at the peak of the lid. The valve at the top of these "Turn Top" models can be twisted, then let go of, to release pressure until the valve is turned back to the normal closed position.

The 7.4 quart Kuhn Rikon Duromatic pressure cooker handles large roasts, canning, corn on the cob, or dinner for 8 to 10. Stainless steaming trivet included with all sizes.

How did I cook so long without it!

I remember my mom cooking with a pressure cooker and aside from being somewhat fearful of it, I recall the wonderful foods. After seeing an infomercial for an electric pressure cooker and doing some of my own research, I bought this one and so far, I love it. Easy to use and makes a wonderful meal in a fraction of the time it would by cooking it in the oven or a slow cooker/crock pot.

It's a high quality cooker and is uncomplicated to operate. I have a gas stove so I opted for the metal plate that distributes the heat. I'm very satisfied with it.
