Ankarsrum Cake Whisks, Pair
A pair of Ankarsrum cake whisks is included standard with every new Ankarsrum mixer. This whisk is for icing, pourable batters and very soft, light cookie dough. When using this whisk set the butter or cream cheese in your recipe should be at room temperature, and you should begin mixing on a slow setting. Having fewer wires than the standard whisks, the cake whisks prevent the incorporation of excess air bubbles into cake batter, which causes cakes to fall during baking.
Also fits the beater bowl of the Electrolux Assistent, Verona and Magic Mill DLX mixers.

My Ankarsum plastic bowl did not come with the rotor attachment. Although it appeared on the picture on the website, but the box did not list the part as part of the contents. I contacted customer service and they were very happy to send me the part! I am very impressed with Pleasant Hill Grain's attention to customer satisfaction!
I purchased my mixer used almost 20 years ago- it still works great? Didn't come with any of the whisk components so it was great to be able to purchase them from Pleasant Hill Grain. They were a reasonable price and arrived quickly and in great condition. Great value and customer service!!!
When I bought my machine years ago it didn't come with this attachment. I wanted to see what is was about. Works fine so far for what I have used it for.
A great addition to the Ankarsrum. This is a replacement for a unit that I inadvertently damaged by not softening the butter enough! It makes short work of piecrust, or lighter cookie doughs. The balloon whisks produce faultless egg whites for soufflés or meringues, or whipped cream.
I love the see though bowl. It works great with an older Ankarsrum mixer. There is a lot of flexibility with this mixer. Highly recommend.
I've had my Ankarsum mixer for 15 years now and it’s still going strong. I used my double beaters the wrong way and had to replace them. I just love my mixer and attachments. Egg whites are just easy to get stiff in a jiffy.
I have had the Magic Mill version of the Ankarsrum mixer for about 15-20 years and I only received the double whisks with it. Used another mixer for cakes and cookies and when my daughter found a used Magic Mill online, I purchased these single whisks for us and we are both very happy. Most of all, the Pleasant Hill Grain website was easy to navigate, information was very thorough, shipping was very quick and the price was reasonable. What more can you ask???

I had ordered this back in December and was advised it was on order and should be delivered in February. Although I didn’t receive it until March it was worth the wait. I was fortunate to purchase a Magic Mill DLX and wanted to purchase additional attachments for it. It works perfectly. My only concern and the reason I did not give it a five star rating is the mixer bowl seems a little on the light weight side. I will probably in the near future be purchasing the stainless steel bowl. It would make a nice purchase option to be able to buy the “set” with the stainless steel bowl instead of the plastic one, at a higher price of course.

Love this bowl! I have two so that I can make multiple batches or complete a recipe without washing and drying the bowl. I just snap on the new bowl and continue on!
