The Chef's Choice 464 "Pronto" diamond hand knife sharpener: The Pronto 464 is the fastest two stage manual sharpener on the market today. In seconds, it puts a razor-sharp, stronger, more durable arch-shaped edge on both straight edge and serrated knives. The high glides kept the blade at just the right angle to the abrasive so an even pressure could be applied along the entire blade edge. Gives a nice edge easily

I have had a similar sharpener in the past, but it eventually "lost its edge". I was looking for a similar one and came across the Chef's Choice. I used it first on the knife I had noticed going quite dull and was happy with the difference after one use. I've used it a few more times on knives that were in better shape and notice a nice improvement each time. It's easy to use; the knife lines up correctly. I'm happy with my purchase.
